I woke up on a black sand beach, not knowing where I was or how I had gotten there. I looked around for what seemed like an eternity with nothing but sand and sea in every direction. Eventually a lone seagull drew my attention to the east. Not knowing which direction to go, I decided to follow the seagull east, and after hiking for about 30 minutes, was eventually able to spot a forest on the distant horizon. Upon reaching the forest I decided to take a rest under a large pine tree, as the temperature was considerably cooler thanks to it's welcoming shade. After my rest I looked around and discovered that I was in the same situation as before. The sand and sea being replaced with trees and vegetation in every direction. Not knowing which way to go, the sound of a woodpecker caught my attention and I decided to let it be my guide. Heading farther east into the forest I eventually came to a beautiful rocky stream. What I can only describe as a voice inside my head directed me to walk upstream, so I headed off in a northeasterly direction. After walking for what seemed like most of the day, I came to a beautiful waterfall. I sat down and began to splash the cool water on my arms and face. A strange unearthly noise was emanating from within the waterfall. After further inspection I discovered a hidden cave entrance behind the waterfall. I headed off into the damp, dark cave toward a faint bluish glow I saw in the distance. The farther I went, the brighter it became. Eventually, I was standing right beside the "object". It was like nothing I had ever seen before. I reached out and touched it and......blackness. I woke up in my bed wondering was it real, was it a dream, or was it something.....else?
